Jacob Soesan, born on 11-9-1923, son of Josef Soesan and Mathilda Soesan-Meyer.
Married Bertha Caun on 13-1-1943, the same day they went to Sevenum, Holland to be hidden by the Snelle family for the remainder of the war.
They bore 5 children: Josef (joop) 2-7-46, Rika 20-11-48, Salomon 24-9-1951, Mathilda (Tilly) 4-3-1953 and Simon (20-3-1956).
Jacob (Jaap) and Bertha (Betty) now have 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, 2 more are expected in September. 
They celebrated 70 years of marriage on 13-1-2013.
