Zoly was Born in Transylvania in 1915 during World War I, when he was
3 year old, his father died, Zoli and his seven brothers grew up in a small village -
where they received their Jewish education, and attended the" heder. "
As a young boy, he learned the trading
fruits, while he was working with his older brothers.
During the Holocaust, he worked hard in several labor camps in Hungary.
When he returned home after the war he discovered that most of his family
perished in the death camps.
After the war he continued to
trade in Nag' Banya, where he met his wife Gisela heart,and they get married.
In 1947 their son Peter was born,
zoly decided to escape Romania, and immigrate to the U.S., he reached the
city Indianapolis, where he began to establish the supermarkets 7-11. Zoly was a strong supporter and a
Zionist, who saw to inculcate the Jewish heritage, and helped his family to be
built in Israel.
